(while this article was originally written for psychotherapists working with ex-fundamentalists, it should be helpful for anyone who has been involved with a restrictive religious group.

one of our famous "old pier", a couple on the sea front and a couple from the centre of town.
.
It look's a lot like New England
Looks like a beautiful town, does it attract a lot of tourists? (I have only been to London.)
what is everyone cooking today for dinner?.
i just put in a turkey breast roast (it's 8:00 a.m.).
first, it's in a oven of 425 degrees to kill off all the surface bacteria, then after an hour, i'll slow roast it at 225 or 250 degrees for 5-6 hours.
So, anyone have anything good going for today?
hehe. I thnk I will drive the 5 hours down to Pat's for Turkey!! It sounds yummy.
Nothing but bachelor chow for me, something canned, frozen, processed or taken out.
this is my first post, i am using a friend?s alias because i can?t seem to logon under my own.
i have been what?s known on this site as a lurker for the past 2 plus years.. however, i could not resist the opportunity to solicit your feedback on an e-mail i received from a co-worker who is a j-dub.. i no longer consider myself one, although i was in the org.
for 25 years.. after reviewing the e-mail my family and i became quite nausea.. please take a look and tell me what you think.. .
Man, I was cheering for the wolves.
My rewrite...
"There was a farmer who raised sheep and had trouble with wolves stealing his sheep. He loved his sheep and didn't want to lose even one of them.
One day the wolves came and the farmer quickly raised his rifle and....
he was too late, the wolves overran him and ate him. They did not eat his copies of the awake and watchtower however. Wolves are not that stupid."

heated exchange at 'fahrenheit'?.
Just saw the interview a little while ago.
I thought Matt was tough but fair on Michael and Michael defended him movie well.
I wish Michael Moorse would turn it down a notch however, as Matt mentioned, so much is in 'the tone in which it is said.' He has great information, but being a passionate artist and filmmaker he tends to push his points with a bit too much gusto and scare away those who might otherwise listen to what he has to offer. Of course others probably think he should ride around with a bullhorn in Washington D.C., oh wait, he already did that.
Aside from that, I thought I wanted to see the movie before, now I can't wait!

If you haven't seen the cartoon - 'A brief history of America', the cartoon from 'Bowling from Columbine', I recommend it.
a new satelite, nasa's spitzer, has been scanning the universe and found organic chemicals as far away as 420 light yrs away.
the number of organics identified stands at 130. some of them are glycine and even a form of sugar.
furthermore, they were found in accretion disks, disk shaped dust clouds, where planets are forming.
SS,
Good stuff. The formuas I have seen predict that life is likely to be out there, somewhere. Personally though I think they will never contact us as long as we continue to wage wars and kill our own species. Talk about a conflicted race, geez, we are pathetic as an organism.
